About

During the summer of 2020, Vees' founder found herself again at a driving range. 15 years before, while interning for a golf sports marketing company she had ultimately been put off from trying the sport simply by the vibe and the clothes. She even thought of starting a women's golf brand back then. But this time, she had over a decade of marketing clothing brands alongside some of the best people in the business. After leaving countless golf brick-and-mortar and online shopping carts empty as she searched for something "her" to wear — and failing miserably — she knew what she had to do. She made a list of her dream team and drafted the biz plan.

Vees is inspired by the women who aren't defined by golf, or any one thing, really. Merging the west coast surf-skate-street style she had seen coming up as a marketer in the industry purely with a golfer's needs and benefits, she and team started from scratch, designing for the multi-active woman who has always wanted to play but felt it wasn't for her for any of the aforementioned reasons.

The thing is, many brands are coming up that share Vees' mission to provide confidence through stylish yet technical products for the golf course, but they disappoint us by sticking to the same six golf silhouettes that look great on a size 2 country club-type chick, but not on the rest of us. Even for those of us who are a size 2, last time we checked, you don't need to wear a skin-tight, paper-thin skort to walk 18 holes, bend down and swing. We feel good when we look good, first. And streetwear? Versatility? We keep hearing brands talk about it but we still haven't seen legit golf streetwear in 2024 that resonates with the women we strive to serve.

The spirit of Vees is aligned with its heritage. Irreverent, a little punk rock, and something ahead of its time. We expect existing golfers to be puzzled by it. We're stoked for those with an open mind to slide into our style and support our ultimate vision for Vees — to push the boundaries of the sport at the tee and at the clubhouse (aka disrupt the norms, aka smash the patriarchy, aka get out in numbers). Say it with us... Golf is not a club.™
